Join Our Group

The Hsiao Lab seeks motivated, curious, innovative, and collaborative researchers to join our group. Our research lies at the intersection of many exciting disciplines, including additive manufacturing, single-molecule fluorescence microscopy, polymer and soft matter science, and nano-materials. We encourage prospective group members to apply following the application procedures below:

Postdoctoral Researcher

We seek postdoctoral candidates from the fields of materials science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, physics and chemistry. Candidates should have a PhD by the postdoctoral appointment start-date, and provide evidence of scientific excellence, and creativity, through a strong peer-reviewed publication record.

Interested scientists please email CV, names & contact information of three individuals who can provide a letter of reference, and a brief 1-paragraph summary of research topics you wish to undertake in our group to: kwhsiao@tamu.edu.

Prospective postdoctoral researchers are strongly encouraged to identify potential extramural postdoctoral funding, and work with Professor Hsiao to submit a research proposal. Preference will be given to candidates that have secured extramural funding.

Graduate Students

We seek researchers from the fields of materials science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, physics and chemistry. Interested students please email CV, names & contact information of three individuals who can provide a letter of reference to: kwhsiao@tamu.edu.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students are encouraged to attend our group meeting to identify a suitable research project. Interested students please email CV and transcript to: kwhsiao@tamu.edu.
